I used it for months and I can tell : no, it just strengthens the remaining hair, but it's still very good for your hair !
One tip though and it may sound weird but it's the best one ever ; learn to wiggle your scalp muscles ! They're at the back of your head at the top of ears level, when they're contracted they cause the whole scalp to wiggle in a to and fro motion, which brings LOTS of blood to the roots. That strengtens the hair like crazy, in a few months it becomes way stronger and healthier and shinier and thicker.
And of course, eat '; hair food '; ; meat, eggs, beans, lentils, bran cereals, etc, hope that helps !
