Anyone have any success stories for regrowing hair. Im a young 20 year old looking for help?

What can I put on bald spots behind my horse's ears (from halter) to keep the skin healthy & regrow hair?
I bought a horse that was previously abused and is practically impossible to catch until she learns to trust that person. Because there is only a large pasture where I board, I sent her to a trainer to work with her on other skills as well as the catching. Because she is so difficult for him to catch (I have no problem catching %26amp; haltering her in the run she is in most of the time), he leaves the halter on her 24/7. I live 90 miles away from the trainer, so I can't be out there all the time to catch her for him. The halter has rubbed bald the hair behind her ears. She is going to be at the trainer's for another 3 weeks. Are there any good ointments, creams, etc. that I can put on those bald spots where the halter rubs that will keep the skin healthy and promote hair regrowth?What can I put on bald spots behind my horse's ears (from halter) to keep the skin healthy %26amp; regrow hair?

I would suggest using paw paw ointment on the bald patch to calm, soothe %26amp; protect the skin %26amp; allow the hair to grow back %26amp; in the mean time definitely get some fleece to prevent it from happening in the future. If at all possible perhaps a smaller yard in the short term so that the halter can be removed completely? Good luck xoxo
My horse is bottom of the pecking order so this is something I know ALOT about as he is always getting bitten or kicked.
I use simple old Vasaline. Put it on the bald spots and it keeps the hide soft and encourages the regrowth of hair.

A better fitting halter or a collar will stop the rubbing and time will let the hair grow back!
Emu oil has a good reputation for this sort of thing.

I would suggest removing the halter and putting her in a smaller pen. Leaving the halter on is a big risk. What if she gets caught up on something. With her already being hard to handle and catch, she may put up a fight and injure herself or someone else.
Plus with a larger area she has more ground to move around on and avoid catching, therefore if your trainer gives up after chasing her for 45 minutes, it's not a lesson learned for this mare, in fact, it'll just teach her to put up an even bigger fight.
Only my suggestion though. Smaller pen and use some M-T-G on those bald spots and halter rubs.

He loved it and the best part is no more itching! His hair is growing back. It is pricey but you don't need very much and you can use it on all kinds of things. It is called BooBooDr Plus at Blueridge. They do have a website and you can order online. It is made from essentials oils and other organic products. I am amazed at the product. I think I will try their fly sprays next.

I am 18 and for some reason I suddenly started losing my hair at the end of last summer. It was thick and and rich before, but all of a sudden, it became weak, prone to shedding, unmanageable, thinner, and i can see my scalp under a light. It's not full bald but it seems like it is going to be that way, but will eating one centrum a day help me regrow my hair back to how it was? My aunt has been losing almost all the hair on the top of her head after 2 of her kids were murdered in Peru. She finally got over what happend to her kids but now she is almost bald. I'm a white 21 y/o female. I've had fine, straight hair my whole life, and in the past couple years its been progressively thinning out. I've seen a dermatologist several times, and he's said that it's probably alopecia. He recommended Rogaine but I've read a lot of bad reviews on it (like if you stop taking it all your hair falls out, or you can be allergic and have worse hair loss from just one treatment!?!?), so I've been too scared to try it. My hair is noticeably thinned out on my crown and above my temples.....
So much so that the only way I wear my hair is with a little puff up top (thank god that's in style at least) or else if I just leave it parted I look sickly.

ANY advice? Experiences? Forums/websites that might be helpful? And please Please let there be somebody who knows of something that will actually work to help regrow my hair or at least keep what I have. I can't afford surgery/laser treatments.

Go to sally beauty supply and buy wild growth hair oil in a green and white bottle it works WONDERS!!Also, deep condition your hair and apply coconut oil and olive oil regularly and massage into the scalp for 15 minutes to stimulate growth.And go to the ethnic hair care isle ( i know your not ethnic but w.e) and there should be something in a brown box called Dr.Miracles nape and crown regrowth balm, these things in combination should really help you regrow your hair .Take biotin tablets they make your hair grow faster and wrap your hair in a silk or satin bonnet at night to control breakage =] i hope i helped.

I have thin, fine hair myself.
First, don't use cheap shampoos and conditioners. Find ones that are made from natural products. They won't damage your hair further.
Watch what you eat. Diet plays a role, so make sure you are eating right.
Watch what hair products you use. Meaning gels, mousses, and even hair clips and ties. Using those often enough can damage your hair.
Massage your scalp gently when you wash your hair. Only use a comb, not brush when it wet and try to let it dry naturally as often as you can.

I am currently 22, and when I was a kid I used to have extremely thick hair. My ponytails were as thick as silver dollars, and it was really hard to put my hair in a ponytail because it was so thick.
Despite that, my mom would put my hair in a tight ponytail for school nearly every single day. So, my hair was almost always being very tightly pulled. We put it in a ponytail so often that I ended up with a semi-permanent wave where the ponytail would have been even when I wasn't wearing it that way. Thankfully that wave has gone away.
Also, I didn't get a very healthy diet when I was a kid. Lots of meat and breads, but very few fruits and veggies. So, I think I had a vitamin deficiency for many years.

well hair loss during pregnancy is very common and it's due to many factors but mainly due nutritional defecits , hormonal and psycological changes , during pregnancy the development of ur child would suck out most of the nutrients that u get from ur diet especially during the 3rd trimester and u'll be in a bigger risk for developing anemias and vitamin defeciancy and the same apply while u r breast feeding ..so the best thing that u can do now is to start a healty balanced diet and and have stuff that are rich in vitamins and iron mainly fruits and green vegetables and meat and maybe u'll need some iron or multivitamins supplements (according to ur blood Haemoglobin level) u can ask ur doctor or OB-GYN and drink milk for the calcium and dont forget to keep urself well hydrated...maybe some local medication would help u grow ur hair faster ..try Minoxidil 5% if the hair loss is in one area but u might still need to ask ur Dr..hope that i helped and good luck
That happend to me and i think it happens to everyone, it will stop falling out 3 months after having the baby and start to regrow, it will stick straight out because its right in the front, by the temples, my baby is 11 months and my hair is still frowing back its lke 4 inches now : ( nothing you can do about it, its better not to dye your hair or straighten it too much,

I think it's your body adjusting to the huge hormone changes. I can't think of any other reason for hair loss after pregnancy, but it's common. I've heard a lot of women complain about it....but it comes back. : )asian hair

so try this...regular trims are a must, about every 7-9 weeks. if its been awhile since you have had a trim then inches may be called for to get to healthy hair. i use vitamin e on fresh washed hair.(its a vitamin that can be purchased where you buy vitamins, cut open capsule, squeeze into hand, rub hands together and apply to hair) dont message into scalp. if you get too much then just rewash it. hair will feel slightly sticky until dry then it will be nice and soft. it tames the frizzies, deep conditions and makes hair grow about three in a month. it takes about a month for the e to kick in. dont brush your hair but maybe once a week to message the scalp, i use a wide tooth comb at other times. brushing breaks off hair. i just started biotin vitamins two months ago this sat and notice and big growth spurt from that. biotin is cheap. i also have the biotin shampoo that i got from a vitamin store online. five bucks for a big bottle and a big bottle of E is about 8 bucks. the biotin is about 3 bucks. good luckcomputer repair
