Yes, basically what causes male pattern baldness is an overabundance of DHT (dihydrotesterone) in the scalp, this can cause the hair follicles to shrink and ultimately stop growing hair.





Now, Propecia works by targeting the DHT, disabling it and blocking it. This will help to stop the further loss of hair, and for many men, allow the hair follicles to re-enlarge and start to re-grow hair.
