Nope. Its a complete myth. The only thing it would be useful for would be to dissolve the oils from very oily hair. I had a friend in school that overused products and a had a really bad build up-even a deep cleaning shampoo couldn't get rid of the build-up. She used dawn. Of course if your hair is color treated, its not recommended.Does Dawn dishwashing soap really regrow hair that naturally falls out?
Don't get alarmed if you lose about 50 hairs a day because that's normal. If you're losing more than that, Dawn won't regrow it because Dawn is primarily a very strong degreasing detergent. They even use it to clean up oil spills in the ocean, but it won't regrow hair. Sorry!! : /
No. Dawn dish soap is harsh on the hair. The only reason why a person would use Dawn dish soap on their hair is to help their semi permanent hair color to fade faster.
